What is NETserver.app?

Norm Harris
I had a dialog on my screen recently that asked if I wanted that app to accept incoming network connections.

I would not know NETserver.app if I "saw it on Main Street."

Any help appreciated.

Thank you.

It’s apparently associated with a Brother printer…http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/apple-notebooks/205281-netserver-app.html.

If you have a brother printer it appears to be OK, if not it’s probably still OK as the Brother drivers may have gotten installed somehow.

Do you have a Brother printer? That's the name of the app the Brother printer uses for wireless scanning.

Apparently, it's a big fat PIT.App too from the various discussions I've seen all over the place.

Sure, call me crazy. They called Eddie Antar crazy too, but
