sharing all contacts with another person

Tori Hernandez-2
Hi: wife and husband want to share contacts. They have 2 separate apple ID's - 2 macs, 2 iPhone 6, 1 iPad
What's the best approach? Thank you

Tori

I’ve created a third iCloud account for the "family", and put there all the shared contacts. On the mac, you can see it as a separate tab in the Contacts app. On iOS, you can add the shared account. It works smoothly.

Of course this falls down when one or both spouses start deleting
contacts they don't want to see. Been there. Seen it in action.
